My Newborn Boys

Today is Cason and Rhett's due date and they are already 6 1/2 weeks old! Last week I took them to get their newborn pictures taken. I'm absolutely in love with how they turned out! This one is my favorite. 

Cason=dark blue, Rhett=light blue

These boys are so sweet. I was nervous about having two boys at the same time, and I know they won't always be this angelic, but I'm grateful for this time where they are my perfect little babies. 

They are both great sleepers and LOVE to cuddle. They don't like their bed, but do their best sleeping while being held or in our bed. Cason and Rhett also both love sleeping outside. I wonder if they will be outdoorsy when they grow up! 

RHETT

Rhett is a great eater! He nurses like a champ and it's definitely showing with that double chin of his. 

He is the best and happiest baby I've ever met. I only heard him fuss a few times in the month he was in the NICU.  

Rhett rarely cries and is learning how to be content lying down without his paci.

He has a habit of smiling in his sleep. It's the sweetest sight. 

CASON

Cason is also a sweetheart. He's the tiniest little thing! 

Cason doesn't nurse quite as well as Rhett. He still falls asleep pretty quickly like preemies tend to do, so I'm going to keep an eye on his weight gain. 

He's a little more demanding than Rhett. Cason wants his paci immediately when it falls out and wants to be picked up the second he wakes up. 

But really, he just loves cuddles and lots of love. 

These boys just melt my heart! I wish they could stay little forever.  

But it's probably best if they grow because I don't know how long I'll be able to protect them from their sisters. 

It's crazy that in 3 years we went from a family of 2 to a family of 7, but I know God sent me these precious boys for a reason. I can't picture my life without them.
