Eric's birthday was on November 23rd. As he stated to me, this is the first time in 28 years he's spent his birthday in the hospital. We were going to go see Hunger Games in the Cinema Suites for his birthday. I still really want to see it and can't wait to get out of here and go to the movies!! I also wanted to do a little party for him or something but that didn't happen, so it was nice that our friends Thane and Shelby stopped by for the hospital party.

And then Eric opened his present from me. I use the term "from me" very loosely because his mom made this all possible!

Just like every year, Eric got a new nutcracker to add to his collection!! You may think it's a little girly looking, but he's about to be a dad to THREE girls. Kinsey absolutely loves the nutcracker and wants to play with it all the time.
After the guests went home, Eric and I watched Superman in my room. I couldn't keep my eyes open so we had to finish the next day. What a wife!!
It was definitely a unique birthday this year, but I'm glad we got a little celebration in.

I celebrated my 25th birthday in the hospital. Kade had to have surgery that day. It was definitely one of my most memorable! I'm sure Eric cares more that his wife and babies are ok than where he's spending his birthday. :)
